4 Quay Point is a well appointed apartment in the centre of the market town of Woodbridge. This light and welcoming second floor flat enjoys views of the river Deben from the balcony whilst also just being a very short walk to the train station.
The front door opens on to a hallway with coat hooks and space for shoes. To the far end of the apartment is the open plan living area; ingeniously designed the layout consists of a fully-fitted wrap-around kitchen, complete with washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, a dining area and sitting area with Smart TV and DVD player. Triple aspect windows shower the room in sunshine; whilst the french doors hint to the far reaching river views beyond to be absorbed on the balcony.
The bedrooms too are equally a delight. The master bedroom is a very generous room. Complete with superking/twin beds, fitted wardrobes and easy chairs this room truly is a modern abode in which to re-charge your batteries. The added bonus of course is the en-suite shower room; a real treat! Across the hall is a second double bedroom. If you look carefully through the window you may just catch a glimpse of the yacht masts bobbing on the rising and falling tide.
Ideal for: a couple, friends or families with older children looking for a holiday bolthole close to local amenities. If travelling by train, you can arrive from London Liverpool Street in just under 2 hours. Of course, you may also wish to make use of the private parking space if you are planning to travel by car.
Sleeps: 4 in 1 double and 1 superking/twin (please specify which option you would like at time of booking). Sadly, 4 Quay Point is unsuitable for children and babies under 12 due to the balcony. 4 Quay Point is accessed via four flights of wide stairs (with handrail).
Exploring: There's so much to do straight from the doorstep of Flat 4. The picturesque banks of the river Deben are just waiting to beckon you whatever the season. Home to a rich variety of wildlife - this ever changing scene is stunning year round. The footpath can take you down as far as Kyson point, or up towards the Wilford Bridge - relatively flat - it's a must whilst you're on holiday here. From the river's end you'll be able to make out the impressive Tide Mill. One of the first and last operating flour mills in the country, come and experience the grinding of corn into flour on one of the open days. If the seaside is calling you - the coast at Aldeburgh is only a 30 minute drive away, and Southwold just under an hour. Flat 4 is conveniently situated on the same site as the Woodbridge train station. A typical 'small' Victorian station (just two platforms), the 'peak' trains arrive around 8 am and 5.30 pm - but connecting trains can be caught to Lowestoft and Ipswich with ease should you wish to leave the car at home. London Liverpool Street can be reached in just under 2 hours.

Self Catering: Most big name supermarkets will deliver to Flat 4, but you can always stock up at the one of the 3 Co-Op stores in Woodbridge or at the Tesco Express and M&S Foodhall and Aldi in nearby Martlesham. Should you wish for a more local affair there is plenty to choose from. The weekly farmers market visits the aptly named Market Hill every Thursday and is a great place to source fruit, veg and more. There's also a greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers, delicatessen, chocolatier, bakery and much more along the Thoroughfare - you need only browse to discover all that this delightful market town has to offer.
Eating and Drinking out: You really are spoilt for choice with eateries in Woodbridge. A mixture of independent and chain cafes, pubs and restaurants are dotted around the town and each offer a unique and memorable dining experience. In fact, there's so many, you'll be wanting to book your next stay here so you can tick them all off your list! Our personal favourites include Christine's Pattiserie and Tearooms, The Table and The Crown to name but a few!

Please note: Flat 4 is accessed via a shared entrance behind the Station Road car park, at the rear of the Adnams shop. Although the property does not accept pets, the owners dog does visit from time to time when they are visiting, but is a standard poodle so fairly non-moulting.
Flat 4 is accessed via four flights of stairs within the apartment block. There is sadly no lift.

- In respect of future guests and the owners, please do not smoke in Flat 4.
- All bed linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
- The property is situated above an Adnams shop.
- This property is not suitable for children under 13
excellent property, the perfect location for enjoying Woodbridge right on the River Deben and so close to the train station for easy daily getaways!!
The property makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door and is close to the shops, train station so if you didn’t have transport you could easily get here and use as a base to other places in the surrounding Suffolk area
4 Quay Point is an excellent property and we enjoyed staying there.
It was superb! My mother and I were delighted by the apartment as soon as we walked through the door. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated throughout with top of the range fixtures and fittings. We particularly liked the balcony - sitting out there on a warm summer's evening with a glass of wine. The owner had gone to a lot of trouble to make is feel welcome and had left helpful instructions on how to use the appliances, emptying bins (security number for the lock) etc. I loved the nautical look and feel of the apartment and the location. It was simply perfect!
