The main high street of Yoxford has an interesting and pleasing mix of architecture dating from the 14th century right up to the 20th century.  Taking its name from the ford over the river, Yoxford is known locally as 'the garden of Suffolk' because of its setting between two stretches of parkland.  Its good location slightly off the A12, make it a good holiday destination for visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, and Minsmere. In August, Yoxford holds an Art Festival with actors, poets, musicians and exhibitions.

Reviews

We had a great week staying in Kozicot. Great days at the beach at Southwold & Dunwich, lovely Dingle Tea room near Dunwich, we really enjoyed the MAzie maze nearSouthwold and atrip to a vineyard. Good pizza at The White Hart pub in Aldeburgh. Olly our two year old really loved staying the the blue holiday cottage and didn't want to go home. Thanks so much for a fantastic place to stay.

C B,

Thank you so much for providing a perfectly clean and comfortable cottage. We've had a gorgeous sunny Easter weekend here. Had some lovely beach days, long plays in the arcade on Southwold Pier, and some good pub lunches, the best was at the Anchor in Walberswick, really good food. A perfect weekend in a beautiful cottage.

The L,

A lovely Easter break in this well situated homely cottage - bright skies every day and a cosy warm fire in the evenings! Felt like home away from home, so much provided and great wifi too! Emmerdale Farm shop is good in the next village and we enjoyed a meal at The White Hart in Blythburgh - Aldeburgh fish n chip shop is worth the que too. The Bell In at Walberswick is great for lunch after a brisk seaside walk. Places to visit, Leiston Abbey, Adnams Brewery Tour, The Arcade on Southwold pier & Framlingham Castle. We enjoyed our peaceful stay at this beautiful cottage thanks to comfortable beds, toasty underfloor heating and afew ciders in th sunny garden!
