Sunnyside is a comfortable apartment ideally located on the edge of Yoxford High Street. Within walking distance of the 2 village 'locals', a cafe, restaurant and shop, Sunnyside makes an ideal base for two looking to explore the surrounding area. Accessed via a shared hallway, stairs lead up to this cosy abode. With a homely sitting room/diner leading down to the kitchen - there is a comfortable sofa to spread out on after day's spent walking or exploring the area. In fact, the kitchen itself has views looking out over a canopy of foliage and trees, providing a relaxing and calming panorama. Beyond the trees, the footpath behind the apartments, lead over the River Yox to the open pastures beyond the village, past the magnificent Tudor mansion, Cockfield Hall, before leading to Darsham and beyond.
The lovely bedroom is incredibly spacious; sea grass carpet lines the floor, whilst large sash windows flood the room in light. On the far wall is a charming wood-burning stove - utterly romantic in the winter months and available for use by prior arrangement. There is also a writing desk and chair; perfect for jotting down memories of your self-catering break to Suffolk.
If you are adventurous at heart - you've found the right place here at Sunnyside. Although there is no designated off-street parking, there is ample on-street parking immediately opposite Sunnyside, all un-restricted. The A12 is within a stone's throw and gives you fantastic links to many interesting tourist 'hot spots'. For nature lovers, be sure to head to RSPB Minsmere - recent home of BBC's Springwatch. For gorgeous sand dunes (and a fabulous picnic spot) - set your SatNav to Dunwich or Walberwick. Or why not simply hit the road and see where you end up... there's so much to discover, you'll be coming back for more! Pub: 100 yards, Shop: 100 yards.

The main high street of Yoxford has an interesting and pleasing mix of architecture dating from the 14th century right up to the 20th century. Taking its name from the ford over the river, Yoxford is known locally as 'the garden of Suffolk' because of its setting between two stretches of parkland. Its good location slightly off the A12, makes it a good holiday destination for visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich and Minsmere. In August, Yoxford holds an Art Festival with actors, poets, musicians and exhibitions. For lovers of antiques, Yoxford is well positioned, with two antique shops in the village itself, you are also within driving distance of Darsham Antiques and Marlesford Mill - what better way to remember your holiday to Suffolk than with a car full of goodies.
